Irrigation Works in Uganda

Icon Projects Ltd provides irrigation works in Uganda for farms, estates, institutions and commercial projects. We help clients plan water abstraction, pumping, storage and distribution for reliable agricultural irrigation and other managed water uses.

Our scope can include water-source assessment, borehole and pump coordination, solar pumping, storage tanks, mainlines, field pipelines, valves, fittings and basic irrigation distribution. The design should be based on crop needs, available water, terrain, pumping hours and the required operating schedule.

For an efficient irrigation system, we consider water demand, source yield, pressure, pipe losses, storage and maintenance access. Solar pumping may be appropriate where grid power is unavailable or operating-cost reduction is a project priority.
